Many people are surprised to learn that even with Medicare (and even with a Medicare Advantage plan), there can still be out-of-pocket costs. Hospital stays, ambulance rides, skilled nursing care, and other services can leave gaps — and those gaps can add up.

This free, in-person educational session provided in partnership with CenterWell Senior Primary Care, is designed to walk through those gaps with real life examples and explain a few optional ways some people choose to manage that risk, without pressure or sales tactics.

• How hospital indemnity plans work — and what they’re designed to help with
• How these plans pay cash directly to you during a hospital stay
• Typical situations where people experience unexpected costs
• General cost ranges and why these plans are optional — not for everyone
• How short-term and disability-related coverage fits into the bigger picture
• Common misunderstandings about what Medicare does (and doesn’t) cover
